SIB40110 CERT IV BEAUTY THERAPY The Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy is designed to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills to become successful beauty therapists.The course includes studies of anatomy and physiology, histology of skin, nutrition, as well as beauty treatments for the body and face such as manicure, pedicure, facial treatments, hair removal, tinting, skin analysis, body wraps, and make-up.
Career options include the ability to own and operate a beauty salon, work as a beauty therapist in a salon, or use your skills as a passport to travel the world on a cruise ship. On completion, students may elect to further studies at Diploma level.
Progression
Students successfully completing the Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy can choose to continue to study by enrolling into the Diploma of Beauty Therapy.

SIB50110 DIPLOMA OF BEAUTY THERAPY Become a Professional Beauty TherapistThe Diploma of Beauty Therapy is the most comprehensive course offered at CNB, providing students with a thorough understanding of the latest industry practices. The 11 month course includes advanced facial techniques, Indian Head Massage, Application of Reflexology in Beauty Therapy, Aromatherapy Massage, Nutrition, Cosmetic Chemistry and Spa Therapies. You will develop industry required skills needed to enhance & expand your career.
Successful graduates have many attractive career options in an expanding industry. Possibilities include owning, operating or managing a beauty salon, day spa, or health retreat; working as a makeup artist; using your skills as a passport to travel the world on-board a cruise ship, work in luxury resorts, tropical islands or working for skin care companies in a training and/or promotions role or as an account manager.

This course is a pre-requisite for the Bachelor of Health Science (Dermal Therapies).
Progression
Students successfully completing the Diploma in Beauty Therapy can choose to continue to study at undergraduate level by enrolling into the Bachelor of Health Science (Dermal Therapies) at Victoria University.
